Kenyan woman, Miss Choice, who appeared the viral videos leaked by a Russian streamer, has opened up about what she says is one of the most difficult decisions she has had to live with, accepting KSh30,000 from controversial pastor Victor Kanyari.

Choice says the money has left her with nothing but regret, and that she wishes she had never taken it in the first place.

According to Choice, she had made her position clear to Kanyari from the outset.

“I made it clear to pastor Kanyari, I don’t want money. I did not want to sell out for 30k. Secondly, 30k is not helping me,” she said in an interview with SPM Buzz, adding that the amount was never going to make a meaningful difference in her life.

What changed her mind, she explains, was not the cash itself but the preaching that accompanied it.

She alleges that Kanyari deployed scripture strategically to wear down her resistance, sending three bouncers to bring her in before delivering a sermon tailored to her situation.

“He said, you can never be an island, you can never be a mountain that you don’t need someone’s help, even the greatest people had to pass through men of God. That was the preaching of that day, and that convinced me. I asked myself, ‘wait, am I too proud to accept help?'” Choice questioned.

It is a question she now wishes she had answered differently.

“I regret. I deeply regret,” she said.

When asked whether she intended to return the money, Choice admitted that she had considered it but was talked out of the idea by friends.

“I wish I returned it to jana (yesterday). But when I called my friends they told me niko na ufala, nitumie hiyo pesa,” she said, suggesting those around her encouraged her to keep it rather than give it back.
