Dandora Stadium set to host the FKF Cup Quarterfinals over the weekend

The FKF Cup is set to return with its quarterfinal stage scheduled for April 30th and 31st, 2024, hosted at Dandora Stadium.

KCB vs Kakamega Homeboyz opens the doubleheader action on Saturday at noon, followed by Kenya Police vs Sofapaka at 3 pm.

Sofapaka’s journey in the tournament has included two penalty shootouts against Silibwet and Bungoma Stars, while Kenya Police secured victories against Posta Rangers and Mombasa Stars. Notably, these teams clashed recently in their FKFPL round 27 match, with Kenya Police staging a comeback to win 2-1.

On Sunday, SS Assad, an FKF National Super League side, will face Kariobangi Sharks, while AFC Leopards will square off against FKF division one side Compel.

SS Assad secured their spot in the quarters by defeating Denmark FC in a thrilling local derby that ended in post-match penalties. Meanwhile, AFC Leopards overcame a formidable challenge from Shabana, with a solitary goal from Kayci Odhiambo securing victory.

Teams will not only vie for the FKF Cup and the Ksh 2 Million cash prize but also for the opportunity to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.
