Faith Kipyegon continues her 1500m dominance, wins fourth world title

Legendary Faith Kipyegon on Tuesday, September 16 bagged Kenya’s third gold in the ongoing World Athletics Championships 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.

Kipyegon exuded confidence and prowess by winning the women’s 1500m race in 3:52.15.

The three-time Olympic champion put an emphatic performance, leading her fellow Kenyan, Dorcas Ewoi who claimed silver after clocking 3:54.92 (personal best). Australia’s Jess Hull got bronze in 3:55.16.

This means that Kipyegon is maintaining her reign in the 1500m, winning her fourth consecutive world title.
