The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced the temporal closure of five roundabouts along Uhuru Highway, Nairobi.
The said roundabouts are; Nyayo Stadium, Bunyala, Haile Selassie, Kenyatta Avenue and University Way.
KeNHA says that the roundabouts will be closed from today (December 28, 2023) to January 1, 2024 – both days inclusive.
The authority says the closure will allow for highway maintenance works along the sections.
Motorists using this road are advised as follows;
a) Approach these affected sections with caution as some lanes will e closed and traffic subjected to share lanes.
b) Follow the traffic signs and guidance in place as shall be directed by traffic marshals ad police on site.
