The Jubilee Party on Saturday, February 7 dismissed as fake information spreading on various social media platforms, alleging a planned Gen-Z event at the home of its party leader, retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, in Ichaweri, Gatundu, Kiambu County.
In a statement, Jubilee Party Secretary-General Moitalel Ole Kenta says that no such event exists.
“These claims are false, unauthorized, and misleading, and do not in any way represent the position, involvement, or endorsement of the Party Leader or the Jubilee Party,” Kenta says.
According to Kenta, Jubilee officials, members and Kenyans should know that any formal communication regarding party leader (Uhuru) is issued exclusively through the verified Office of the 4th President of the Republic of Kenya and the official Jubilee Party platforms.
“Any information circulating outside these channels should be treated with caution and verified accordingly,” he adds.
However, Kenta acknowledges that the youth occupy a central place in the vision of the Jubilee Party and its leader.
“We will continue engaging young people through structured, organized, and legitimate forums, including the Party Youth League. We remain firmly committed to empowering Millennials and Gen-Z as key stakeholders in the nation’s present, into the 2027 elections and beyond,” Jubilee Party affirms.
