Controversial pastor Victor Kanyari has come out to shut down swirling rumours about his relationship with Marion Naipei, insisting his intentions toward her are purely supportive and nothing more.
Speaking candidly, Kanyari made clear that his concern for the young woman stems from a desire to see her protected and uplifted.
“Sitaki aaibishwe na wanaume tena kutolewa nguo. I don’t want that stupidity. I want that girl to enjoy life,” he said in a video on his TikTok, referencing past incidents in which Naipei was allegedly humiliated by a man, in a video that went viral.
The pastor revealed he had already taken concrete steps to back up his words, handing her business capital and making a bold promise.
“Leo nimempatia pesa ya biashara na nimempromise kumnunulia gari,” he disclosed, confirming he had given her money for business and pledged to buy her a car.
Kanyari was equally firm in dismissing any suggestions of a romantic or inappropriate involvement between the two.
“Sio eti nafanya kitu na yeye. I’m above that, I don’t do those things. Me nimeruka hiyo,” he stated, distancing himself from the speculation that has been making rounds online.
His remarks have since sparked mixed reactions, with some applauding his generosity while others remain skeptical of his motives.
