Police in Kiambu County have arrested four notorious drug traffickers in Matangi area, Juja Sub-County.

Acting on a tip-off, the officers conducted a raid on Friday, September 5, leading to the arrests and the seizure of several illicit substances.

The National Police Service (NPS) reports that the officers seized 2,085 rolls of bhang, eight (8) kilograms of unprocessed cannabis, 30 litres of chang’aa, 20 litres of muratina, and KSh9,580 in cash which they suspect to be proceeds from the illegal trade.

The suspects are currently in police custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday, September 8, 2025.

“The National Police Service appreciates the cooperation from members of the public and urges continued vigilance in reporting criminal activities,” NPS says.
