Kenyan media personality Kamene Goro has put to rest speculations surrounding her relationship, confirming that she is still married to her husband, DJ Bonez.

In an Instagram “Ask Me a Question” session shared on her page, Kamene directly addressed the curiosity around her relationship status after a follower posed the question,

“Are you single, still married or complicated?” Her response was clear and concise: “I’m married.”

The confirmation comes exactly a week after Kamene opened up about her near-death experience battling severe sepsis, an emotional revelation that had shifted public attention to her health and recovery.

At the time, she disclosed that she had been admitted to the ICU, where doctors drained five litres of pus from her body in a life-saving procedure.

Notably, in her emotional account where she expressed gratitude to those who stood by her during the ordeal, DJ Bonez was not mentioned among the people she acknowledged at the time.

She described the experience as deeply traumatic and revealed she was still healing, both physically and mentally.

Kamene’s openness over the past week has placed her at the center of public conversation, with many Kenyans expressing concern, support, and curiosity in equal measure.

Her sepsis battle, which she admitted she still does not fully understand the source of, highlighted the fragility of her situation and the long road to recovery ahead.
