Kenya Expo 2026 to deepen China trade ties as manufacturers seek investment and technology partnerships

Kenya is set to host the 9th Kenya International Industrial Expo and Kenya Investment and Trade Fair 2026 from September 3 to 5 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, bringing together manufacturers, investors, suppliers, and businesses from Kenya, China, and other markets.

The three-day exhibition, running under the theme “Investing in Tomorrow, Trading for Prosperity,” kicks off on September 3 at 9.00 a.m.

This comes as Kenya looks to expand its manufacturing base, attract foreign direct investment, and increase local value addition through technology, industrial partnerships, and improved access to international markets.

This year’s edition is expected to feature machinery and equipment, construction materials, hardware, energy, electrical and electronic products, household goods, healthcare products, and industrial technologies.

Over its eight previous editions, the expo has increasingly shifted its focus toward trade, investment, and industrial cooperation rather than simply displaying products, a direction that reflects the growing appetite for direct business engagement between Kenyan and international firms.
