The State Funeral of the late former Prime Minister, Raila Amollo Odinga is currently underway at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technolody.
Among the top dignitaries in attendance include, but not limited to, President William Ruto, former President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Nigeria President Oluṣẹgun Ọbasanjọ.

Raila’s last mass: The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) has started the funeral mass of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Thousands of mourners have gathered at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University grounds in Bondo, Siaya County, to witness the final journey of a man who defined Kenya’s politics for more than 40 years.
The mortal remains of the late Raila Odinga have arrived at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga grounds for his funeral service.
The body spend the night at his Opoda Farm home in Bondo, Siaya County, for a night vigil.
Raila, known for his many nicknames but most recently ‘Baba’, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, marking the end of an era in Kenya’s political history.
His death has left the country mourning a man whose life’s mission was to fight for democracy, justice, and unity.
After the funeral service, Raila’s body will be laid to rest next to his father, the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, at Kang’o ka Jaramogi.
