Newcastle and Manchester United set to battle for Bundesliga star Šeško

Benjamin Šeško has emerged as the focal point in one of the most intense striker competitions during Europe’s summer transfer window, with Manchester United and Newcastle United engaged in a high-stakes chase for the RB Leipzig front.

Arsenal were initial favorites for the Slovenian forward; however, their choice to pursue Viktor Gyökeres has created a distinct opportunity for the Premier League duo to amplify their interest.

Newcastle United, anticipating the possible exit of their premier striker Alexander Isak, have recognized Šeško as the optimal replacement. Isak’s recent transfer request, exclusion from the pre-season Asia tour, and increasing connections to Liverpool have intensified Newcastle’s eagerness to respond.

The club has allegedly monitored Šeško attentively and examined personal terms, despite the absence of a formal offer to RB Leipzig thus far.

RB Leipzig is imposing a substantial price on their esteemed Slovenian forward, requesting amounts between €70 million and €80 million (about £60–70 million), contingent upon bonuses. This translates to approximately Ksh 10.47 billion to Ksh 11.96 billion (€70M-€80M) or Ksh 10.36 billion to Ksh 12.08 billion (£60M-£70M) based on current exchange rates.

Leipzig’s sporting department asserts that no team has officially initiated discussions; but, recent agreements and informal understandings allegedly guarantee that Šeško might go if circumstances permit.
