A notorious drug peddler has been arrested after police conducted an operation in Umoja 1 area, Buruburu Sub-County, Nairobi County.
During the raid, officers confiscated approximately 20 kilograms of unprocessed cannabis, along with 3,000 prepared rolls and 33 packages of the substance, which were retained as exhibits.
The suspect was apprehended and will be arraigned in court.
“This operation is part of the National Police Service’s sustained efforts to curb the distribution and abuse of narcotics within the city and across the country,” the National Police Service (NPS) says.
The Service has also commended the officers involved in the operation for their vigilance and commitment to the fight against drugs and illicit alcohol.
