The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has officially confirmed the resignation of Interim CEO Patrick Korir, marking yet another leadership transition within the country’s football governing body.
FKF President Hussein Mohammed announced that Korir tendered his resignation letter on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Korir was appointed Interim CEO on October 8, 2024, under the FKF leadership of Nick Mwenda, following the resignation of Barry Otieno, who stepped down to pursue the FKF presidency in the upcoming December elections.
According to reliable reports, Bob Collins Otieno, popularly known as Bob Junior, is set to take over as the new FKF Chief Executive Officer. His official appointment is expected to be announced in the coming days.
