Radio47 has been ranked second in radio stations with the highest market share in Kenya.

According to a Quarter 1, 2025 report by research firm IPSOS, Radio47 came second only to Radio Citizen, beating traditional radio stations that have been around for years.

In its report of Quarter 4, 2024, IPSOS ranked the Cape Media Limited owned station third among the top three national Swahili radio brands in the country in terms of market share. At the time, Radio47 came behind only Radio Citizen and Radio Jambo.

The fastest-growing radio station in Kenya was launched in March 2023.

Since inception, Radio47 has also won several awards, including the Bronze award at the KUZA Awards 2023, the 2023 People’s Choice Radio Host of the Year Award (Mbaruk Mwalimu), and Kibali Award for Most Consistent Gospel Radio Presenter in Kenya in 2024 (Evah Mwalili).
