Police have launched investigations after robbers broke into the  Redeemed Gospel Church (Dorcas City International) and stole a church sound system worth Ksh500,0000 in Nguluni area, Matungulu West  in Machakos County.

This is a second time for robbers to break into the same church and escape with church property.

According to Reverend John Nzomo, the incident  happened at around 3 am on Sunday September 21, 2025.

The reverend expressed concerns over the continued robbery at the church as he urged police to thoroughly investigate the matter and arrest the culprits.

The clergy is now calling on security apparatus in the area to tighten security following increased reported incidents of theft at places of worship, homes and business premises.
