Kenyan forex trader Samuel Ondieki, popularly known as Sammy Boy Kenya, has sparked conversation online after posting a strongly worded message about personal hygiene on his Instagram Stories.

In the post shared, Sammy Boy did not hold back as he urged people to pay closer attention to their cleanliness.

“Please fam, use deodorant or just buy some perfume abeg, y’all out here smelling like oasis is crazy,” he wrote.

He went on to say that body odour is a major turn-off, adding, “One reason not to ever talk to someone is that body odour, also how does someone not notice they have a bad breath?”The trader expressed disbelief that some people are unaware of their oral hygiene, advising them to self-check.

“Fam just breathe to your hand or somethin and make a change… we are in 2026,” he stated.

Sammy Boy further recommended practical solutions, including carrying travel-sized products.

“Buy some traveling mouth wash and mouth spray or chew some mint, drink some lemonade to neutralize that garlic breath,” he wrote.

Clearly frustrated, he concluded his post with a firm stance: “Don’t argue with me, we can’t justify this hygiene behaviour.”
