Shinyalu's Young Simba bag KSh2 million after winning Fernandes Barasa Governor's Cup at Bukhungu Stadium

Young Simba are the winners of the 2023 edition of Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa Cup tournament.

The Shinyalu Constituency-based football club won the tournament after narrowly beating Maroon Commandos from Khwisero by a solitary goal.

Young Simba took home the ultimate KSh2 million cash prize, while Maroon Commandos pocketed KSh1.5 million.

The final match was played at a fully-packed Bukhungu Stadium.
