Police in Kayole, Nairobi County, are investigating a shocking incident where a 17-year-old boy reported stabbed to death the mother of a girl he impregnated.
Police say that the incident happened when the family summoned the boy to a meeting, to discuss the pregnancy of their 19-year-old daughter.
But during the meeting on May 4, 2025, a disagreement — which quickly turned chaotic — ensued.
It is at this point, police report indicates, that the boy picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman on her right torso from the back, leading to serious bleeding.
Police say the ensuing melee also saw the sister of the deceased injured on both her hands and mouth. She was rushed to a local hospital.
The boy has since been arrested, with police recovering the suspected murder weapon from the scene.
