Popular massage therapist and content creator Steve Collins Kariuki, widely known as Massage By Steve Wakaniaru, has shocked fans after revealing that he was allegedly poisoned by someone close to him during a party he hosted.
In an emotional video shared on his Instagram feed, Steve recounted how what began as a joyful celebration with close friends nearly turned fatal.
According to him, the incident unfolded after the group decided to change venues due to a misunderstanding with the management at the first location.
“This is a story of how one of my friends poisoned me,” Steve said, urging people to always listen to their instincts.
He explained that upon arriving at the second venue, he suddenly felt uneasy for reasons he could not immediately explain.
“I got a little bit uneasy for some weird reason. I thought it was because we had left a very high-end place and now we were in a noisy place,” he said. “Kumbe it was my body, my intuition talking to me, run.”
Steve revealed that he eventually left the venue and went into hiding, only to wake up the following day in critical condition.
“The following day I woke up very sick. I couldn’t breathe, my body was weak, I felt like I was dying,” he narrated.
After rushing to hospital, doctors allegedly delivered disturbing news. “The doctor confirmed, ‘Bro, kuna kitu ulikewa kwa drink ama kwa food yako, and the purpose was kukutuma sayuni,’” Steve recalled.
He expressed disbelief, noting that the people present were friends he had personally invited to celebrate with him.
“To this point, I have no idea who poisoned me. I only have suspects,” he said, adding that his survival was nothing short of divine intervention. “God is faithful that I am here to tell the story.”
In a firm conclusion, Steve announced he would cut off all his friends for his own safety. “I don’t know who to trust anymore, and I cannot trust any of you,” he said.
