Rising Kenyan rapper, Stoopid Boy famous for his song ‘G Bag Na Jug’ has opened up about what happened to him after he left rehab. He revealed that things got worse for him and that he feels let down by people who used to support him.
In a candid interview, Stoopid Boy stated that he was very upset that his supporters had not kept their promises to assist him with financial support after rehab.
He claimed that many people had taken advantage of him, including popular media personality Oga Obinna who had promised that he would help him turn his life around.
According to Stoopid Boy, he thought his life would change after leaving the rehab and maybe start running a children’s clothing store. But after leaving rehab he felt alone, paranoid and depressed.
“You can come out of rehab with a lot of diseases. I have paranoia and depression. I thought after I left rehab I would be helped to start a business even if it’s for selling ‘ugali omena’ and even better a store that sells children’s clothes,” he explained.
Obinna reacted to the surprising claims made against him by revealing that the news caught him entirely off guard, especially after his attempts to help Stoopid Boy’s music career after the artist’s recovery.
“I’m holding back from saying too much, as it often stirs more trouble than good. Honestly, I’m heartbroken after watching that video,” Obinna stated.
He then urged people not to criticize Stoopid Boy as he might be having a hard time, like a relapse, or dealing with other personal problems and instead keep supporting his next release.
