Police officers have arrested a suspect linked to a violent robbery that occurred in Parklands, Nairobi County, on June 28, 2025.
The success came after detectives followed several investigative leads, ultimately tracking the suspect to Eldoret town. The suspect was arrested on July 2, 2025 and a silver Toyota Axio believed to have been used in the commission of the crime recovered.
A search by the police yielded critical evidence, including a reflector jacket, a police headdress with a white cover, and two different vehicle registration plates. The items were suspected to have been used to disguise the suspect’s identity and facilitate criminal activities.
“The suspect and the recovered items were escorted to Parklands Police Station for further investigation process,” the National Police Service (NPS) confirmed in a statement issued after the arrest.
The arrest marks a significant step forward in ensuring justice for victims of violent crimes and reinforces the police officer’s service resolve in upholding safety and order in the Kenyan community.
However, investigations into the matter are ongoing, with the police urging the public ton remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
