Tanzanian star Vanessa Mdee reveals she got born again in Kenya

Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee has recently shared about her Christianity background which began in Nakuru County.

Mdee says that it happened at the age of 8 years while she was taking her primary education at Greensted School, Nakuru.

Despite her mother’s Muslim background and her father’s Catholic upbringing, Mdee’s family accepted her decision to follow Christ, although her mother initially struggled to understand the situation.

She recounted getting saved together with her sister Nancy and brother G who were in the same school.

The music star who is now residing in the US emphasized the importance of early exposure to faith, citing herself as a living example of the significance of instilling spiritual values in children.

Mdee acknowledged her past failures but asserted that it’s never too late to turn to Jesus, encouraging others who may feel unworthy or distant from God.

The sensational songbird has been off the music industry for almost 4 years now after she quit due to pressure associated with the sector.

She claimed that the entertainment industry is filled with demonic forces preying upon the artists making it a decision to safeguard her soul from the forces of Satan by stepping away from the industry.

Vanessa Mdee relocated to Atlanta, Georgia with her partner Rotimi who is also a singer.

The two are currently parents to two children Seven and Imani.

In 2023, they delighted their fans with amazing photos as they revealed the faces of their children.
