The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party will be holding its nominations on 20th September 2025, ahead of the November 27 2025 by-elections.

In a notice released on August 14, 2025, the ruling party is encouraging interested candidates to to apply for nomination by registering through the UDA Party portal accessible at uda.ke.

The registration period will commence on 14th August 2025 and close on 5th September 2025 at 5.00p.m.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declared vacancies in six (6) MP seats of Banisa, Kasipul, Magarini, Malava, Mbeere North and Ugunja constituencies, one (1) Senate seat (Baringo) and 17 Members of County Assembly (MCA) seats.

Nomination fees for the UDA Party

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki last week assured UDA aspirants of free and fair nominations in the upcoming by-elections, insisting no party leader will impose candidates.

Speaking when he hosted grassroot leaders from Baringo County, Kindiki urged consensus among contenders but maintained that, if need be, the party will go to the ballot.

“Msilete mchezo wa kamari, msiingilie mambo ya wananchi. If it is consensus we will respect it and accomodate those who will not get our flag to fly the party ticket,” Kindiki assured.
