A group of young parliamentarians, who are opposed to the Broad-based Government arrangement, are today converging at a church in Embakasi East, Nairobi County.
During the church service, to be held at the Jesus Teaching Ministry in Donholm, the leaders are expected to announce key development that is likely to shape Kenya’s politics ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The leaders, hosted by area MP Babu Owino, include, but not limited to; Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, and MPs Gathoni Wamuchomba (Githunguri), Caleb Amisi (Saboti), Anthony Kibagendi (Kitutu Chache South), Obidiah Barongo (Bomachoge Borabu), and Joshua Kimilu (Kaiti).

On Saturday, Saboti MP Caleb Amisi insinuated something big with his tweet.
Senator Sifuna has recently found himself in a catch-22, criticising the broad-based government, brought forth after the unity pact between President William Ruto and Raila Odinga.
Sifuna has maintained that he will not support any course that calls for President Ruto to be elected for a second term in 2027.
Are these group of young parliamentarians planning to form a new political outfit to counter President Ruto and Rail?
