World Rugby has officially unveiled the match schedule for the opening leg of the HSBC SVNS 2, set to take place in Nairobi on February 14 and 15, 2026, at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Action will get underway early on Saturday, with the women’s competition kicking off at 9:00am EAT. China will face Argentina in the opening match, before Spain take on South Africa 22 minutes later.
Home favourites, the Kenya Lionesses, will close out the first round of women’s matches with a clash against Brazil, a fixture expected to draw strong local interest.
The men’s competition will then take centre stage, starting with USA versus Belgium, followed by Uruguay against Germany.
Hosts Kenya Shujaa will wrap up the opening session at 10:50am, taking on Canada in what promises to be a high-energy encounter under the Nairobi sun.
Meanwhile, the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has urged fans to purchase tickets early and arrive at the stadium in good time to enjoy the full HSBC SVNS 2 experience.
Supporters have also been advised to use public transport and ride-hailing services, as parking will not be available at Nyayo National Stadium during the event.
