Choreographer, dancer, and Bien’s wife, Chiki Kuruka has revealed the determination behind husband Bien-Aimé Baraza’s historic signing with American music powerhouse Quality Control Music (QC).
The dancer and manager said she turned down offers from labels that saw Bien’s potential mainly in Africa, insisting he deserved a team that believed in his global appeal.
Her search, alongside collaborator Street Execs Tek, eventually led to QC executives Coach K and Pierre “P” Thomas, who embraced her vision of taking the Kenyan star worldwide.

The deal’s legal process took nearly nine months, demanding patience, sacrifice and difficult decisions.
“I have no words. The label that built and signed Migos, picked my Bien, OUR Bien,” Chiki said, celebrating the breakthrough.
Bien’s new chapter has begun with the release of I’ll Be Okay, ahead of his upcoming project Alusa Continua, expected on November 20, 2026.

From Sauti Sol to the global stage, Bien’s dream is getting a powerful new backing and Chiki’s persistence helped open the door.
