Dr Ofweneke has shared some of the experiences he encountered after serving as an MC during Kate Actress wedding.

Catherine Kamau popularly known as Cate Actress is a Kenyan award-winning actress.

Speaking during his show on TV47, Dr Ofweneke Live on Wednesday March 6, 2024, he claimed that he faced online attacks after Cate Actress break up with Philip Karanja. He was the MC during their wedding.

Dr. Ofweneke wears many hats in his career life. He is a comedian, MC, and motivational speaker, roles that have seen him serve as MC for corporate gigs.

During the TV show, Dr Ofweneke recalled when Kate Actress paid him twice to MC her wedding after it was postponed.

He noted that he has so much respect for her.

At the same time, Kate Actress said that she was still going to invite Dr ofweneke to be her MC in her next wedding.

Kate Actress and Philip Karanja alias Phil went public about their separation in September 2023 through a joint statement.

“We came to a conclusion to end our marriage a long while ago and separated. We sincerely request everyone to honor our wishes for privacy for us and our children. Signed Kate and Phil,” read the statement.

Phil took to his Instagram to clarify that they had still business partnerships that would see them continue working together despite their divorce.

“Hii ni Mambo ya watu wawili, but allow us to add you to the group chat kidogo, so we can proceed with our lives bila story mob. Kate and I remain as friends, co-parenting and business partners,” he wrote.
