Family Bank early Tuesday, April 23 responded after a video of a woman shouting inside one of its retail branches went viral.

In the video, the woman is seen causing a stir and heard screaming, ” I want my money…I want my money…I want my money!”

All this while, a security guard is seen grabbing the lady and dragging her outside the bank.

In a statement from Nancy Njau, the Managing Director and Executive Officer, the bank said that it was aware of the said video.

“We have had engagements with the customer and the matter is under resolution. We appreciate the grievance this process of resolution may have caused the customer. Family Bank follows all laid down procedures as regulated,” Njau says.

She assured that the bank remains committed to excellence, insisting that the matter is being handled with discretion and urgency it deserves.
