Kenya Police Bullets have finished third in the FKF Women’s Cup after coming from behind to edge Zetech Sparks in the playoff staged at the Police Sacco Grounds.

The two sides were relegated to the playoff after faltering in the semifinals of the cup.

Police were eliminated by Ulinzi Starlets following a 4-2 post-match penalties shootout loss while Zetech fell to Kibera Soccer Ladies 2-1.

Although the Police failed to reach the final, they will take consolation in the fact that they clinched the league title in the first time of asking.

Police were crowned champions last month in Kisumu and will consequently, feature in the CECAFA Women Club Championship to be held in August in Ethiopia.
