Four people, including 6-month-old baby, die in Kisii road crash

Four people, including a six-month-old baby, perished in a tragic road accident at Nyabigege area along the Kisii-Migori Highway.

The accident, which occurred on Saturday, September 16, occurred when two PSV matatus collided head-on at around 10:30 am.

The wreckage of the two vehicles involved in the tragic accident were towed to Nyamarambe Police Station, Kisii County.

Confirming the incident, Kisii County Police Commander Charles Kases said that the accident saw over 20 passengers seriously injured.

They injured are receiving urgent medical care in various hospitals in Kisii and neighboring counties. 

Wreckage of the two vehicles were towed to Nyamarambe Police Station, while the bodies were removed to Kisii County Referral Hospital morgue.

Most of the survivors had fractures on their limbs.
