Jamaican dancehall star Charly Black is hoping for a stroke of luck after losing jewellery valued at approximately KSh1.1 million following his performance in Kenya, with the singer now indicating that a cash reward could be offered to whoever helps recover the missing pieces.
The “Gyal You a Party Animal” hitmaker revealed that the jewellery disappeared after his Saturday night performance, leaving him eager to get back his valuable accessories.
Speaking during an interview on the Obinna Live show on Tuesday, October 13, Charly Black recalled wearing the jewellery during his performance before launching a search for the missing items.

“If you watch my performance Saturday night, you’ll see I had it on. But after, I sent everybody to look for it,” he said.
For the Jamaican entertainer, the missing jewellery is no small loss. The items include a pendant valued at $6,000 (approximately KSh776,000) and a chain estimated to be worth another $2,500 (approximately KSh323,000).
Together, the two pieces could be worth about $8,500, translating to roughly KSh1.1 million.
Charly Black reveals the value of his missing pendant
During the interview, the dancehall star made it clear that he wanted the pendant back when asked whether he hoped to recover it.
“Yeah, the pendant. It cost $6,000. Of course I want it,” he said.
Charly Black clarified that the $6,000 valuation applied to the pendant alone, separate from the chain.

He estimated the chain’s value at between $2,500, explaining that it was smaller than another chain being discussed during the interview.
The combined value of the two pieces makes their disappearance a significant financial loss, with the singer now hoping that someone can help reunite him with his jewellery.
Cash reward could be paid in US dollars
As the conversation turned to recovering the missing jewellery, the possibility of rewarding whoever finds and returns the pieces came up.
Charly Black indicated that he expected a payment to be offered, although he did not disclose a specific reward amount.
“I’m going to talk to Adelaide and find out what’s going on,” he said.
The singer also confirmed that any reward would be paid in US dollars rather than Kenyan shillings.
However, the exact amount remains unclear, and the artiste did not announce a formal reward figure during the interview.
Appeal for the missing jewellery
Charly Black’s revelation has drawn attention to the disappearance of the valuable pieces following his Kenyan performance, with their recovery now the priority.
With the pendant and chain together estimated to be worth approximately KSh1.1 million, finding the missing jewellery would help the singer recover a substantial amount of value.
For now, the search continues, and any potential reward will depend on the arrangements Charly Black makes with Adelaide.
