Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) has launched Tukua, Kenya’s first AI-powered opportunity platform designed to connect youth with jobs, internships, scholarships, tenders, mentorship and funding opportunities through a single chat system.
The platform uses artificial intelligence to match users with opportunities based on their skills, profiles and counties, while also helping them generate CVs and cover letters within seconds.
Developers say the platform will help address unemployment among young people by making it easier to access opportunities and connect organizations with verified youth across the country.
Stakeholders have welcomed the innovation, saying it will empower youth and improve access to career and growth opportunities through technology.
