Kenya Power has announced electricity interruptions in various parts of the country today (Tuesday, May 13), to allow for scheduled maintenance.

In a statement posted on X, the power utility company said the scheduled maintenance would start at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

The interruption will affect areas in seven counties namely; Nairobi, Kisumu, Nyeri, Kilifi, Nandi, Bungoma and Laikipia counties.

In Nairobi, areas affected include; Githurai 45, and Nairobi West.

At the same time, Kenya Power urged residents to take precautions amidst the long rains.
