Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula is a proud dad after his son Alvin Wetangula tied the knot with his lover Naisula Leteipan in a private traditional wedding over the weekend.

The two love birds Alvin and Naisula officiated their relationship in a lavish ceremony that had been graced by family members, politicians, and close friends of the two families.

Some of the notable figures who were present at the wedding include; Kenneth Lusaka, Moses Kuria, Joseph Jama Ole Lenku, Ole Kaparo, Gladys Boss Sholei, Susan Wafula, John Waluke, Didmus Barasa, and Kakai Bisau among others.

The groom wore emerald-green African-themed outfits while the bride was donned in a beautiful gown accessorized with her traditional Maasai ornaments.

A happy, Wetangula congratulated his son for taking his relationship to the next level.

“My Dearest Son Alvin, As I stand here watching you embark on this incredible journey of love and partnership, my heart swells with pride and joy. Today, you are not just gaining a life partner, but a lifelong companion who will share in your dreams, challenges, and triumphs,”

An emotional Wetangula added, “Seeing you take this step towards building your own family fills me with a mix of emotions – nostalgia for the little boy you were, and excitement for the amazing man you’ve become.

Beaming with pride he wrote, “Your choice in Naisula Leteipan reflects your wisdom and the depth of your character. Cherish and nurture the bond you share, for it will be the foundation of your future,”

 He went on to advise his son, “Always remember, love is not just about the beautiful moments; it’s about standing together during the storms and finding strength in each other’s presence,” Speaker Wetangula said.

“May your marriage be as strong as the values we’ve instilled in you and as enduring as the memories we’ve shared together,” Weta added.
