Nicco Movers Limited has announced the temporary suspension of its vehicle operations as it cooperates with relevant authorities over an incident that occurred on June 5, 2026, involving a passenger who boarded one of its vehicles and subsequently fell.

In a public statement dated September 1, 2026, the company said its vehicle operations are temporarily suspended as it continues to engage and cooperate with the relevant authorities regarding the incident.

“NICCO MOVERS LIMITED would like to inform our valued customers and the general public that our vehicle operations are temporarily suspended as we continue to engage and cooperate with the relevant authorities regarding the incident that occurred on 5th June 2026, involving a passenger who had boarded one of our vehicles and subsequently fell,” read the statement.

The company apologised for the inconvenience, acknowledging that the suspension may inconvenience passengers and business partners.

Nicco Movers said it remains committed to cooperating with the relevant authorities and respecting due process, and assured the public that it would keep the public informed through our official communication channels once there is a confirmed update regarding the resumption of our services.

This comes after the Transport Licensing Appeals Board suspended Nicco Movers’ PSV operator licence with immediate effect, giving the company seven days to address ten compliance concerns raised by the National Transport and Safety Authority.
