Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon. Babu Owino has emerged as the highest-rated legislator in the country in constituency development, posting an impressive 86 per cent performance rating in the latest national assessment of Members of Parliament.
The ranking places the Embakasi East legislator at the summit of a distinguished list of lawmakers recognised for their contribution towards constituency development, underscoring his sustained prominence in Kenya’s increasingly competitive political landscape.
Kiharu MP Hon. Ndindi Nyoro secured the second position with a formidable 85 per cent, closely trailing the top-ranked legislator.
Lurambi MP Hon. Titus Khamala followed in third place after registering an impressive 80 per cent. Kigumo MP Hon. James Munyoro occupied the fourth position with 76 per cent, while Yatta MP Hon. Robert Basil was also ranked among the country’s leading legislators after recording the same rating.
Bomachoge Chache MP Hon. Alfah Miruka and Teso south legislator Hon. Mary Emaase each registered 75 per cent, followed by Mwingi West MP Hon. Charles Nguna, who attained 74 per cent.
Kabuchai MP Hon. Majimbo Kalasinga secured a 73 per cent rating, while Embakasi West MP Hon. Mark Mwenje completed the list of the top ten legislators leading in constituency development with 71 per cent.
The rankings offer a compelling reflection of the increasing importance voters attach to tangible development and effective grassroots representation.
