Former West Pokot Senator Samuel Poghisio has strongly condemned the rising use of goons and thuggery in recent times by politicians.

Poghisio said the use of goons to attack competitors and rivals is uncalled for and it sets a bad precedence for the country as we head to the 2027 General Election.

According to Poghisio, politicians splashing around money handouts are corrupt to the core, insiting that no leader can throw his or her hard earned cash.

He said that in recent times many youths have been mobilized and spotted throwing, pelting stones as well barricading roads in the name of politics, calling on the government and relevant authorities to crack the whip and arrest those responsible for the mayhem.
