Over 700 investors in Diani, Kwale County are living in fear of being evicted from their land within Darad area which they claim to acquire legally and developed it in a span of 20 years.
Led by their chairperson Thomas Oloo, the investors said that since last year they have received threats and rumours of an impending demolitions after their title deeds were revoked by the court.
The investors have expressed their frustrations on the matter which they want the President Dr. William Ruto who is on a Coastal tour of issuing title deeds to the residents to intervene swiftly.
They have also urged the Kwale County governor Fatuma Achani to help them secure their land which they purchased from the rightful local owners between 2006 and 2007.
