Two guns recovered from notorious criminals linked to 18 robberies

The DCI is now linking two firearms that were recovered two months ago to a spate of robberies within Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nakuru and Kajiado counties.

The guns in question were recovered from the pictured suspects two months ago.

In a ballistic report released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) National Forensic Laboratory, the firearms have been linked to 18 armed robberies.

“The firearms; a Czeska CZ 75B S/No. B022944 and a CZ P-07 S/No. C626319 were recovered on June 27, 2023, from two notorious criminals identified as Ezekiel Kiarie Njoki and David Mwangi Gakuru,” the investigative agency reports.

The DCI is linking these two guns to 18 robberies committed in Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nakuru and Kajiado counties. The guns were recovered from two notorious criminals identified as Ezekiel Kiarie Njoki and David Mwangi Gakuru.
