Police in Garissa have arrested two suspects linked to a series of violent robberies in the region.

The suspects were apprehended on Tuesday, September 29, during an intelligence-led operation in the Bulla Sagarey area.

Police say the two were armed with machetes at the time of their arrest and are suspected of being involved in several robbery incidents across the region.

They are currently being held at Garissa Police Station as they await processing and arraignment in court.

The National Police Service says it remains committed to cracking down on criminal networks and enhancing public safety.
