Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been named Kenya’s top-performing legislator in the latest Infotrak survey, recording an approval rating of 80 per cent to claim the top spot.
Kabuchai MP Joseph Kalasinga came in second with 78 per cent, while Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and Taveta MP John Bwire shared third place after both registering 76 per cent in the survey.
Several other lawmakers also featured prominently in the rankings.
Samburu West MP Josephine Lesuuda, Didmus Barasa of Kimilili, Reuben Kiborek of Mogotio, Gideon Kimaiyo of Keiyo South, Nelson Koech of Belgut and Kaguchia Gichohi of Mukurweini all scored 73 per cent.
Aldai MP Marianne Kitany, Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, Samburu East MP Jackson Lekumontare and Wundanyi MP Danson Mwashako were clustered together at 72 per cent, while Mbooni MP Erastus Nzioka came in at 71 per cent.
Changamwe MP Omar Mwinyi and Awendo MP John Walter Owino both closed the list at 70 per cent.
The latest survey result adds to a growing list of accolades for Owino, who was earlier in the year named the best-performing MP at the 2026 Politrack Africa Star Leaders Awards.
He had also received the same honour from Politrack Africa in 2025, and a previous Infotrak survey conducted in February 2025 had similarly placed him at the top of the national rankings.
Responding to the latest recognition, MP Babu Owino credited his constituents and the broader Kenyan public for their continued support, saying the result was a reflection of his dedication to public service.
