Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has mourned the death of Paul Ng’eno, brother to the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno, who died after being hospitalized for some time.
In a condolence message shared on Facebook, Gachagua sent his sympathies to Ng’eno’s mother, Mary Temas, describing the loss of her second son within a short period as deeply painful.
“To Mama Mary Temas, mother to the late Emurua Dikirr MP, Hon. Johanna Ng’eno, pole sana on the loss of your son, Mr. Paul Ng’eno, who had been hospitalized for a while,” Gachagua wrote.
He acknowledged the difficulty of losing two sons within a short period, urging the bereaved family to find strength in God during the difficult moment.
“I know that, for a moment, you may question God why this has happened to you and to your sons,” he said.
Gachagua added that although the circumstances surrounding the deaths may be difficult to understand, the family should remain steadfast in faith.

“Many of us will ask, but the will of God is absolute,” he stated.
Paul’s death came shortly after his mother appealed to Gachagua to assist in settling his hospital bill and facilitate his release from the facility.
Gachagua had agreed to help clear the bill, while also accusing the government of abandoning the family despite earlier commitments made during the burial of Johanna Ng’eno.
In his latest message, Gachagua extended his condolences to the people of Emurua Dikirr, asking God to give them strength as they mourn.

“To the people of Emurua Dikirr, poleni sana on the loss of Paul Ng’eno,” he said.
He concluded his message by praying for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace.
“May the soul of Paul Ng’eno rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him forever,” Gachagua stated.
