Police in Nyali, Mombasa County, have arrested a key suspect involved in the distribution of child pornography.
Noel Naliaka Ndinyo, who has been on the run for a while now, was arrested after the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) flagged a Snapchat account tied to her email address as a hub for sharing illegal content.
Acting on this lead, detectives from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit launched a meticulous operation, ultimately apprehending Naliaka at her hideout in Nyali Sub-County.
The suspect would later be arraigned at the Shanzu Law Court and charged with multiple offences, including Online Child Exploitation Contrary to Section 22(3)(c) of the Children’s Act No. 29 of 2022.
She pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The prosecution strongly opposed her release on bond.
The court has scheduled May 9, 2025, for a ruling on bond terms.
