Police in Nairobi are investigating an incident where a man died on the spot after falling from one of the floors of the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).
The man is said to have landed with a thud at the entrance of building at about 11 am on Tuesday, April 14.
According to Nairobi Central Police Commander Stephen Nyakombo, police are yet to establish the motive behind the tragic fall, although witnesses say the deceased jumped from the top floor of the building.
“We are yet to know more on the suicide incident including his motive and where he was prior to the fall,” Nyakombo told The Star.
In 2024, two people died in a span of only a month after jumping from the floors of the same building.
The motive for the latest incident remains unclear as investigations continue.
