DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua has assured Kenyans in the diaspora that the opposition will have one presidential candidate to face President Ruto in 2027.
Speaking at St. Stephen’s ACK Church in Dracut, Massachusetts, USA on Sunday October 11, 2026, Gachagua dismissed claims that the opposition was divided.
The DCP Leader said Kenyans want the election won in round one and vowed to do everything to ensure opposition unity.
At the same time, he threatened to mobilize Turkana residents to stop all oil drilling until locals benefit, saying God gave Turkana oil to transform their lives but Gulf Energy is now taking it all after acquiring Tullow Oil, while locals get nothing.
He also condemned the killing of over 700 cows in Samburu and demanded government compensation, saying police who did it are paid and armed by the government.
