The Luxury Living & Design Expo(LLDE) returned to Village Market for its 6th edition, running from 31st July to 2nd August 2026 at the mall’s rooftop venue. Held in partnership with the Kenya Property Developers Association (KPDA) and Buy Rent Kenya, this year’s expo brought together developers, architects, interior designers, contractors and home solution providers all under one roof—creating what Village Market Managing Director, Mr. Hamed Ehsani describes as “a dynamic platform for collaboration and innovation in African design and real estate.”
This edition featured an exciting lineup of exhibitors across three categories: Property Design and Development, including Tilisi Developments PLC, Centum Real Estate, Karim Exclusives, Barre Homes and Wafi Investment Limited; Interiors and Exteriors, featuring Dr. Mattress, Anisuma Traders, Aryana Carpets, Furniture Palace, Belle Roche, Zaymar Interiors, BoConcept, HalfPriced Books and Home & Beyond; and Service Providers, including ABS Bank, KCB Bank, SBM Bank and Verispect.
Visitors explored emerging design trends, property investment opportunities, smart living innovations and sustainable solutions while engaging with architects, developers and designers shaping the future of Kenya’s luxury living. Ownership 360 returned for a third edition, taking the conversation further and turning the focus to the property market on day two of the expo. Moderated by Andrew W. Barden, CEO of The Kenyan Wall Street and Co-Founder & CEO of Wall Street Africa Group, whose work focuses on business, investment and capital markets across Africa, the panel brought together Caroline Kamau-Kimoita, Partner and Head of the Real Estate & Construction Department at Ashitiva Advocates LLP; Nashon Okowa, Director of Beacon Africa Consultants and previously
Chairman of the Association of Construction Managers of Kenya; and Sadia Rajput, Co-founder and Growth Lead at Avaar Consulting. Together, they unpacked freehold versus leasehold ownership, affordable housing, infrastructure, smart cities, and the future of real estate investment.
The Luxury Living & Design Expo wrapped up with a closing ceremony on day three, celebrating the brands driving Kenya’s luxury living sector forward. Based on visitor votes, Dr.Mattress emerged as the winner in the Interiors & Exteriors category, with Belle Roche named first runner-up. In the Property Design & Development category, Karim Exclusives took top honors, followed by Barre Homes as first runner-up. In the Service Providers category, ABSA Bank was named the winner, with Buy Rent Kenya as first runner-up, recognising exhibitors that made a lasting impression on attendees.
