Tanzanian music star Zuchu has opened up about the profound way becoming a mother has transformed her relationship with Diamond Platnumz, revealing that the couple’s bond has grown far beyond romance.

“I think sasa hivi tumekua zaidi ya wapenzi. Tumekua wazazi, tumekua ndugu, tumekua kama familia sasa,” Zuchu said while speaking on a local Tanzanian TV station on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
“Our child has connected us even more”
Zuchu explained that their daughter has created a permanent connection between her and Diamond- one that would remain even if their romantic relationship ever came to an end.
“Mtoto ametuunganisha zaidi. Tukisema tutaachana, sisi tushakuwa familia, labda mmoja wetu aanguke,” she said.
