Gor Mahia seal strategic partnership with German firm ahead of CAF Champions League return

FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia have strengthened their preparations for the 2026/27 season after entering into a strategic partnership with German-based sports and logistics company ONEflow Sports.

The latest agreement comes just days after the record Kenyan champions secured a KSh 30 million sponsorship deal with paint manufacturer Plascon Kenya, underlining the club’s commitment to enhancing its financial stability and operational capacity ahead of a return to continental football.

The partnership was announced by Gor Mahia patron Eliud Owalo, who revealed details of the engagement through his official Facebook page following a meeting between club officials and representatives from the German firm.

“I have this evening led Gor Mahia management in a meeting with ONEflow Sports, a subsidiary of logistics conglomerate ONEflow GmbH of Stuttgart, Germany. We explored possible areas of collaboration and partnership,” Owalo stated.

According to Owalo, the ONEflow Sports delegation was led by the company’s director Jesper Larsen and included Head of Academy Berni Petersen, Head Coach Miguel de Souza and East Africa Regional Director Ben Leed.

The Gor Mahia delegation featured club chairman Ambrose Rachier, Secretary General Nick Arum and Treasurer Gerphas Okuku.

Owalo emphasized the significance of building international partnerships as the club gears up for another campaign in the CAF Champions League.

“Strategic partnerships are imperative ahead of the CAF Champions League,” he added.

The collaboration represents another positive step for the Green Army as they seek to strengthen both their sporting and administrative structures ahead of a demanding season on the domestic and continental fronts.

Gor Mahia secured qualification for the CAF Champions League after clinching a record-extending 22nd FKF Premier League title at the end of the 2025/26 season.

The achievement further cemented the club’s status as the most successful side in Kenyan football history and guaranteed their return to Africa’s premier club competition.

K’Ogalo will be back on the continental stage after missing out on the tournament during the 2025/26 campaign, a consequence of a rare trophyless season in 2024/25.

With fresh sponsorship backing and growing international partnerships, Gor Mahia appear determined to lay a stronger foundation for future success as they target silverware at home and a competitive run in the CAF Champions League.
