Kisii Governor Simba Arati has officially launched The Kazi Mashinani Initiative in Nyamarambe, South Mugirango.

Up to 2,000 residents are set to benefit from the initiative every month across Kisii County.

The programme will see 30 residents from each of the 45 wards in Kisii engaged every month on a rotational basis, while 350 more workers will be deployed within the Kisii Central Business District (CBD).

This rotational arrangement ensures that over time, many more households across the county will benefit from this employment opportunity.
