Elon Musk’s partner Shivon Zilis has broken her silence following the sudden end of their relationship, revealing that she was left hurt and shocked by how quickly things changed.
In an emotional statement shared on X on Saturday, October 3, 2026, Zilis said she struggled to understand how she could go from being “in love” to being let go within just a week, with no warning.

Zilis also shared screenshots of private messages between her and Musk, including one in which the billionaire told her he loved her on September 24 – shortly before the reported breakup.
She said she was grateful for the time they shared, adding that she had wanted to give Musk a sense of calm, happiness and stability away from the intense pressures of his public life.
“I will miss him dearly,” Zilis wrote.

In a deeply personal reflection, Zilis said she loved Musk “more than life itself” and credited him with giving her what she described as “100 lifetimes of knowledge.”
She also spoke about their four children, calling them “four beautiful little loves of my life” and expressing gratitude for the family they built together.
Despite the heartbreak, Zilis said she hoped they could remain “great friends and co-parents,” while making it clear that she still cared deeply about Musk and wished him happiness.
